Musical Evening at Barnegie Hall

I spent the evening listening to Son Jaracho music at Squash Blossom Farm.  Roger and Susan  hosted Zenen Zeferino, Axolotl (Cadence Nelson & Israel Vega), Martial Hangbe and Nickolai Kolarov. It was a wonderful time – I met new people, tried out this chicken dish that was perfectly balanced with spices and onions, caught up with a few old friends. And I really enjoyed the music!

This is the first time I’ve ever heard a cello added to this music; listen to the clip attached above and I feel you will agree, it gives a depth. I like it.

Next summer, when we can dance under the stars, they are going to come back and play for a fandango. Won’t that be fun?
